Pepper Farm near Sihanoukville

Location: About 20km from Sihanoukville. It takes 30mins from the Sihanoukville port.

Kdat Fishing Village

Location: About 25km km West of kampot Province or about 75Km West of Sihanoukvile , it takes about 2hr to get there from Sihanoukville.

Kdat fishing village is a fisherman community where you can see the daily life of the fishermen.

It is an interesting place to learn about the fishermen and Especially for taking photos of their boats, the fishing port and village.it really offers great photo opportunities for photographers. Fishermen, at the Fishing village in Kdat, in their fishing boats leave in the evening and return to the dock in the early mornings with their catches. During the day the boats dock in the port and the fishermen repair their fishing nets and work on their boats.

 Market in Kampot

Kampot market near the center of Kampot town is amazing and very interesting place where you can see local people come to this market to buy fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, live fish and live birds every day. The market also has dried fish, dried prawns and lots of dried fungi, especially black, red, green and white pepper. The whole place was bustling with shoppers. 

Town and River

Total visiting time: 20 minutes 

Kampot is pretty with plenty of villas, colonial houses and old shopfront trading houses, especially along the river road, make it a pleasant area to wander through. Kampot river also provides the beauty of its own sleepy town where you can enjoy the sunset view from Bokor mountain.

Wat MoniSalapreuk

It is located about 50km from Sihanoukville port. It takes about 45mins.

Wat Monisalapreuk is a Buddhist temple where you can see and learn about Buddhism through the statues of Buddha including the reclining Buddha and other Buddha images had been made and kept in the temple. In the past, Buddhist temple played as the main role for education. Today, a school have been seen built near the Wat Monisalapreuk for children in the village can go to school.
